Here’s what else we need:

*licenced drivers with experience, clear accident and conviction histories

*experience driving a slightly larger vehicle (than a passenger car) with a trailer would be most beneficial

  • good work ethic

  • strength and stamina

  • congenial – you will be the face of our company and must always make a good impression

  • clean and tidy presentation

  • you must have the right to work in New Zealand, a New Zealand Inland
Revenue Number, a New Zealand bank account number and a phone number where you can always be reached

What you get:

  • $24.26 per hour and the ability to join KiwiSaver (where we contribute as well – so it’s like earning more money!)

  • watch your bank account grow knowing that you’re funding the next leg of your journey

  • lots of work, all year round

  • a professional contract

  • great teammates in a firm with a great reputation

  • responsibility

  • the chance to see some interesting areas of Hawkes Bay and sometimes beyond

  • t-shirts provided

We can’t promise anything but sometimes the folks we’re moving provide a lovely morning tea or lunch, and sometimes tips!

We're always keen to bring on experienced Class 2 drivers (who will also be furniture movers).  Our wage is competitive.  The work can be very challenging.  If you’ve got what it takes send us your CV, references, copies of your class 1 or 2 licence, current driving record, recent drug test, and headshot photo.  Candidates must have a current NZ drivers licence, work experience, the right to work in NZ, and be available to work on Saturdays OR Sundays. Employment opportunities are available to qualified females and males. We’ll consider part-time roles for desirable candidates. The scope of the job may broaden in future for outstanding employees.

We look forward to meeting you and welcoming you to the Two Men and a Truck team!

NOTE: If you possess a current heavy vehicle licence from Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, UK or USA and it’s been valid for more than two years you may not need to take a practical test to convert your overseas heavy vehicle licence to a New Zealand heavy vehicle licence.

Experienced, professional Class 2 drivers wanted.
